LISBON, OH – The watercraft motor restriction at Guilford Lake State Park will remain in place, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
A public open house event and comment period were held recently to discuss a pilot program to allow boats powered by more than 10 horsepower to operate on the waters of Guilford Lake if they only operate at idle speed. Based on public feedback, the rule setting a 10-horsepower limit will remain unchanged.
