PETOSKEY – The Michigan Clean Marina Program, which typically takes the form of an online classroom, is hitting the seas and heading up to Petoskey this spring to conduct workshops and lessons and to teach the best practices of the Clean Marina Program.

On Wednesday, March 14, guests can join workshop host, Kendall Klingelsmith of the Petoskey Department of Parks and Recreation, and some of the Michigan Sea Grant staff and Clean Marina certification specialists at the Petoskey Winter Sports Park.

“The program is a voluntary certification program that encourages environmentally friendly marina design, maintenance, and boat handling practices,” according to the press release.
