SOUTH HAVEN, MI — South Haven residents and visitors can travel back in time this Labor Day weekend as replicas of two Christopher Columbus’ ships have docked among the modern day motor boats in the Lake Michigan harbor town.

People can tour the replicas of the 15th Century Nina and Pinta ships through the Labor Day weekend. They will be open for public tours from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 31 through Monday, Sept. 4 at the Michigan Maritime Museum, 260 Dyckman Ave.
